Energy efficiency assurance is a key task for contemporaneity. The implementation of Russia’s great potential in this respect implies dynamic actions of both federal and regional authorities, business, and civil society.
We are now facing a paradoxical situation,
when the key indicators of socioeconomic development
related to energy efficiency are incorporated in important documents on national development but have not yet been devised and included in official data books. It is imperative that we as soon as possible include energyrelated indicators in state statistics and use them extensively.
Climate change is the central geopolitical and economic problem of the 21st century, and it will be increasingly more important on the priority list of Russia’s political leadership and in the activities of government authorities, businesses, and nongovernmental organizations.
